Mainstreaming

Central objective of Action 3 lies in mainstreaming the results of TEP_EQUAL_ELDERLY after the end of the project as an “Austrian Strategy for Elderly”. This will be realized through:

• Information pool on elderly workers and enterprises
• Synopsis of innovative, regional approaches
• Transfer of experiences and knowledge concerning the implementation of [ Elderly Plans ]
• Incorporation of Elderly Plans into regional and national programmes
• Public award “Best of Elderly Plans” for enterprises

Core of the mainstreaming activities in Action 3 is the creation of a Pacts White Paper together with experts from the fields of science, practical application and politics and regional actors in labor market policy. Its aim is to propose a structured catalogue of measures for the implementation of an Austrian strategy for elderly workers and employees.

Objectives of the White Paper:

• to provide a shared and expanded view of existing challenges and forthcoming developments (medium- to long-term scenarios), especially taking into consideration the globalization of labor markets
• a derived strategy for the pacts
• practical recommendations relevant in the fields of politics and programmes/measures, drawing from a broad consultation process
